DESCRIPTION
This deciduous shrub exhibits a remarkable growth rate and showcases highly fragrant, upright double flower clusters with deep reddish-purple hues. The curling petals, which tend to be a paler mauve, emerge during the mid-spring season.

COMMENTS
Prune after flowering. Annual mulching and fertilizer in Autumn recommended, with Summer watering required.

TREE CARE
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union approximately 5 to 10cm BELOW the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
