FEATURES
Ascending up to a height of 12 meters, this tree's columnar and upright growth habit imparts a majestic quality. Its lustrous green leaves, which possess a silver-green underside, complement its branching of red to brown tones.

COMMENTS
Often used as wind breaks or on long driveways and in parks. Tolerant to most soil types, air pollution and coastal conditions. Plant in well drained soil in full sun. Can have an invasive root system.

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
