Plum - Green Gage Prunus domestica

DESCRIPTION
The Freestone fruit is a medium-sized round fruit, featuring greenish-yellow skin and flesh with a very sweet flavor. It typically grows to a height and width of 2.5 meters, making it a compact and manageable fruit tree for home orchards and gardens.

MATURITY
Late January early February (Mid season).

Coe’s Golden Drop, Cole’s golden Gage, Prune D’Agen and Robe de Sergeant.

COMMENTS
Used for fresh fruit, preserves and jam. Upright spreading tree, bearing good crops, requiring staking.

TREE CARE
Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
