Melia azedarach Elite

FEATURES:
Melia Elite, a deciduous tree, is a fast-growing tree that can reach up to 15 meters tall and has a wide spreading canopy. Melia Elite is an attractive ornamental tree that is often planted for shade or as a street tree. The branches are irregularly arranged and form a symmetrical crown. The trunk is usually short and stout with a smooth, grayish-brown bark.

FOLIAGE:
It's foliage is dark green, pinnately compound, and up to 45 cm long. The leaves are lance-shaped and have serrated margins. They turn yellow in the autumn before falling.

Fragrant, lilac-colored flowers in the spring, followed by green, fleshy berries that turn yellow when ripe

TREE CARE:
Melia Elite prefers well-drained, fertile soil and full sun exposure. It is a low-maintenance tree that requires minimal pruning. The tree is drought-tolerant and does not require regular watering once established. It is relatively pest and disease-free but can be affected by scale insects, mealybugs, and spider mites.
