FEATURES
The Golden Rain Tree is a fast-growing, deciduous tree reaching about 6m in height. At maturity, it has a rounded crown, with a spread equal to or greater than the height. The leaves are attractive mid-green, turning yellow in Autumn, and are followed by papery bronze pink seed pods. The bark is light grey-brown and becomes furrowed with age. Golden Rain Tree is perhaps most striking in summer with its large clusters of showy yellow flowers.

COMMENTS
The Golden Rain Tree is a superb shade tree. Its tolerance for heat, drought and pollution make it popular for gardens, parks and street planting in urban areas.

TREE CARE
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
