Hamamelis x intermedia Jelena Witch Hazel

FEATURES
A vase-shaped, deciduous shrub with ascending branches and bright green leaves that turn yellow in autumn. It produces fragrant copper-red coloured flowers in mid and late winter on the bare branches.

COMMENTS
It is a slow growing form but a good choice for adding colour in the winter to the garden. Formerly called "Copper Beauty".

TREE CARE
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
