DESCRIPTION
Black genoa is known for its impressively large fruit, which boasts a unique coloration that includes a purple skin over a green base, and red flesh. Its outstanding flavor profile makes it a top choice among fruit aficionados.

COMMENTS
Used for fresh fruit, drying and jam, very nutritious fruit. Large spreading tree to approx. 4m, which produces two heavy crops of fruit per year.

TREE CARE
Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
