Crab Apple - Julias Blush Malus x purpurea

DESCRIPTION:
A small ornamental tree, with an open spreading habit. The single deep pink flowers are produced in abundance in mid Spring. The new foliage has purplish-green tips, maturing to bronze green leaves. Large red fruit with a pink flesh is produced, suitable for crab apple jelly.

TREE CARE:
Plant in full sun in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
