Cotinus Foliis Purpureis

DESCRIPTION:
A small growing rounded tree to 3m in height. The rounded foliage is soft green with the new growth a deep purple around the edges during Spring and Summer, changing to purples and reds during Autumn. Long plume like inflorescences are produced in profusion during Summer. Suitable to most soil types, prefers a well drained spot in full sun, mulch and water well. Frost hardy.

TREE CARE:
Plant in a well-drained and well-worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep the soil moist until the tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
