FEATURES
An attractive small to medium sized deciduous tree of rounded shape. Small rose pink, pea-like flowers, form in clusters on the bare branches in spring. Smooth dark green, heart shaped leaves follow, along with ornamental seed pods.

Smooth dark green, heart shaped leaves, ornamental seed pods are also produced.

FLOWERS
Clusters of small rose pink, pea-like flowers.

COMMENTS
For optimal growth, this plant should be cultivated in a location that receives ample sunlight, although partial shade can also be tolerated. Additionally, it requires well-draining soil to thrive. Furthermore, it is considered frost hardy, enabling it to withstand cold temperatures and inclement weather.

TREE CARE
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
