COMMENTS
Japanese maples are usually grown for their magnificent displays of autumn colour. However they also look wonderful in Spring, when they are covered in lush, new growth. Plant in full sun or partial shade. Keep well watered and mulched. Maples produce more brilliant colors in a cooler climate, especially when frosts occur.
TREE CARE
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
