FEATURES
Known as the Trident Maple or Buergerianum, this is a moderate growing upright tree with an oval to rounded canopy. Features leaves that are three-lobed, almost ivy-like, shiny and triangular. The Spring growth is coppery-red maturing to glossy dark green in Summer and turning a brilliant greenish-red and orange in Autumn.

COMMENTS
Trident Maple typically colours later than most trees. Tolerant to pollution and dry conditions. Suitable for large gardens, parks or street plantings.
TREE CARE
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
